It's been a year since Berto finished the amazing video for "Eminent Domain." We've received kudos on the song and video from all over the world, including the brilliant men who inspired the song itself, Neil Young and Howard Zinn. You can only imagine the smile on my face when Howard Zinn told me the song/video was "admirably imaginative, musically pleasing and politically provocative."
But mugfug is hardly the first or the last to be inspired by Howard Zinn. In fact, a major project is in the works to bring "A People's History of the United States" to the big screen.
Little has changed in our world. The global war on terrorism marches on although the stories surrounding its "progress" seem to be murky and depressing at best. Nevertheless, I still have hope for peace, and "hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

Just thought I'd check out the new blog you mentioned. Nice job. Although, of course, I will have to disagree with you (and Stephen King) on at least one thing (it wouldn't be me if I didn't).
"...no good thing ever dies."
I'd say a lot of good things die.
It would be wonderful to hope that no good thing ever dies, but that hope would be very much in vain.
Many thanks for the kind words...
